What is the Elton designed to do?
Sean Lavin designed it so that it carries two ring-framed heads on one stem, each free to aim its own way. One fixture can light a painting and the table beside it.
Which Elton finish works with my palette?
Satin nickel or antique bronze: pick the one your rail and other hardware already wear.
Can the Elton light artwork or a display?
Yes, that is what it is for: it has two heads that each rotate and pivot 360°, so the beam lands where you want it.
Does the Elton come with a bulb?
No. It takes two MR16 lamps, which you choose separately (up to 35 watts each).
Will the Elton work on my existing rail?
If it is Visual Comfort FreeJack, MonoRail or Wall MonoRail, yes — order the matching version. Ordinary H-, J- or L-type track is a different standard.
Can I dim the Elton?
Yes, with a low-voltage dimmer chosen to suit the system's transformer.
What else do I need to order with the Elton?
A lamp, plus the rest of the system it mounts on: rail or a FreeJack port, supports, a power feed and a 12V transformer. The Monopoint version only needs a junction box.
How soon can the Elton arrive?
Most options ship within 2–3 business days. 4 are waiting on a restock (October 20, 2026) and can be ordered now; the Shipping Info table lists which.
