Is the trim included?
No. This is the housing (the can) that is installed above the ceiling. The trim you see from the room is chosen separately, so you can pick the look, beam and finish.
Can I install it in a finished ceiling?
This one is meant for new construction or open ceilings, because it attaches to the joists. For a finished ceiling, choose a Nora remodel housing or a can-less downlight.
Can insulation touch this housing?
Yes. It is IC rated, so insulation can be in direct contact with it, and it is air-tight to cut drafts and energy loss.
How quickly will it ship?
In-stock options typically leave the warehouse within 2–3 business days, and shipping is free on orders over $100. We only show options Nora currently has in stock.
How do I find the right part number?
Your electrician's plan or the label on your existing fixture usually shows the Nora model. Compare it with the part number table on this page, or message us the number and we will confirm the match.
Can I order in contractor quantities?
Yes. Builders, electricians and designers often order by the case for whole projects. Add the quantity you need, or contact us for larger jobs.
