Nora 4" GU24 IC Air-Tight New Construction Housing, 13–18W CFL is the hidden foundation of a 4" GU24 recessed light.
A 4" IC air-tight new-construction can with a fixed GU24 socket. GU24 lamps carry their own ballast or driver, so you set the wattage by choosing the lamp: a 13–18W GU24 CFL (wattage varies by trim) or an 11W GU24 LED retrofit, sold separately. Match the part number (NHIC-4G24AT) to your plans before ordering.

Yes, it is IC rated and air-tight.
Does it work in a finished ceiling?
It is meant for new construction or open ceilings, because it mounts to the joists.
