The Design Story

Hans-Agne Jakobsson designed his pine lamps in Sweden in the 1960s, and they became one of the defining lights of Scandinavian homes. Yamagiwa now produces the collection in Japan, where traditional craftspeople reproduce the original faithfully and assemble each lamp by hand from thin, slowly dried pine.
