Pablo Studio is a tight-knit San Francisco team that picks one idea, refines it and strips it down to its essence. Their goal: objects that feel personal and a little surprising every time you use them.
The Design Story
Totem was created by Pablo Studio, the in-house design team at Pablo Designs in San Francisco. It celebrates random combinations: mouth-blown glass shades in four soft profiles (A, B, C and D, largest to smallest) on one modular LED platform, so every owner composes a light of their own.
Why You’ll Love It
It makes the most ordinary ceiling light beautiful. In a hallway, a row of Totem Flush in alternating shapes looks like a gallery installation.

Canopy: 6.75 in (17 cm) diameter. Shade sizes are from the Totem spec sheet. Pablo does not publish a separate flush-mount drawing, so the overall projection from the ceiling is not stated; ask us before you order for a tight clearance.

Questions We Hear Most
Is it good for low ceilings?
Yes, it mounts flush to the ceiling, though the A shade is 14 inches tall, so check your clearance.
Does it match the Totem pendants?
Yes, it uses the same opal shades.
What happens when I dim it?
It warms from 2700K toward 2200K.
Can I alternate shapes in a hallway?
Yes, alternating A–D shades looks wonderful in a row.
Is it suitable for bathrooms?
It is a ceiling light with fully enclosed glass, but Pablo lists no wet or damp rating; check local code for wet zones.
Who is this not for?
Anyone who wants a plug-in light or a very shallow fixture. It is hardwired to a ceiling junction box and the shades range from 3.5 to 14 inches tall.
