The Design Story
Pilar is a study in geometric proportion that brings out the character of its materials: a solid marble column and a hovering frosted glass globe, in a dialogue between solidity and lightness that defines its silhouette.

Yes, natural marble veining varies from piece to piece.

Marquina Black, with white veining.
How does the globe attach?
It sits above the column; the lamp ships in two cartons.
Is Pilar dimmable, and does the color change?
Yes, with an in-line full-range dimmer. The lamp is a fixed 2700K, so the color does not shift as it dims.
Is it an LED lamp?
Yes. Pablo specifies an 8 W LED lamp (E26 BT-15) at 800 lumens and 90 CRI.
Who is it not for?
Anyone who wants a bright task light or a wet or damp location. The 800-lumen globe gives soft ambient light.
