Pablo Studio is a tight-knit San Francisco team that picks one idea, refines it and strips it down to its essence. Their goal: objects that feel personal and a little surprising every time you use them.
The Design Story
Nivél comes from the Pablo Studio in San Francisco, where Pablo Pardo, a Venezuelan-born industrial designer, founded Pablo Designs in 1993. Pablo describes the pendant as redefining pendant illumination: spun shade forms combined with an articulating flat-panel LED light engine that pivots on its axis. The cordless Nivél Table and Floor won a 2023 Interior Design HiP Award.

Where It Shines
Over a dining table in a cluster, above a kitchen island, or tilted toward artwork. Who it is not for: anyone who wants a plug-in light (it must be hardwired) or a light that warms as it dims (it is fixed at 2700K).

15 inches suits smaller spaces and tighter clusters; 22 inches makes a larger statement and is brighter at 740 lumens.
How far does the shade tilt?
Pablo lists a 45° shade tilt in two directions.
What color temperature is it?
2700K, fixed. It dims but does not shift warmer.
What dimmers work with it?
