San Francisco designer Peter Stathis is fascinated by how everyday objects shape the way we live. His award-winning designs are held by MoMA, Cooper Hewitt and the Denver Art Museum, and he has been a Pablo collaborator since the original Tube Top in 2006.
The Design Story
Link modernizes the classic pantograph task lamp, the folding scissor arm of drafting rooms, with advanced LED technology. It was designed for Pablo by Peter Stathis, founder of the San Francisco industrial design studio Virtual Studio, who gave it a dual-purpose head: the slim shade is also the handle you use to move the lamp. Pablo Designs, founded by Pablo Pardo in San Francisco in 1993, offers Link in table, clamp and other mounting versions for homes, offices and hotels.
