The Design Story
Pablo Studio’s Contour replaces the shade around a bulb with an open frame of slender aluminum. LEDs sit flush in the inner edge and wash light across a lining of wood or fabric, and you can see straight through the lamp to the room beyond. The design is covered by US design patent D774,239.
Why You’ll Love It
It is sculpture and lighting at once. From across the room it reads as a tall, glowing frame; up close, the wood grain or fabric texture warms the light. It lights a whole corner, yet the room stays visible through it.
Made for Real Life
An in-line floor dimmer on the 9 ft (274 cm) cord adjusts it from bright to low. The integrated LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours. Dust the frame with a soft cloth.

It gives 1,800 lumens, plenty to light a corner or a small room.
Which lining is best for a living room?
Walnut feels rich and warm; White Oak feels light; Pearl and Coal add a soft fabric texture.
How deep is Contour Floor?
Just 6 inches, so it fits close to a wall.
Does it dim, and does the color change?
Yes, with an in-line floor dimmer. The light stays a fixed 3000K as it dims.
Who is it not for?
Anyone who wants dim-to-warm light, a USB port (Pablo lists none on the floor lamp) or a wet or damp location. Pablo lists no damp or wet rating.
