Pablo Studio is a small group of makers and inventors with diverse backgrounds in industrial design and craft, and a deep understanding of manufacturing, materials and technology. The team approaches each project by isolating a concept, refining it and reducing it to its central principle. Experimentation and meticulous attention to detail shape the studio’s work.
The Design Story
Pablo Designs has made lighting in San Francisco since 1993, and the Bola family has become one of its signatures: hand-blown opal glass orbs that seem to float on slender metal. The Pablo Studio built Bola Lantern on the Bola Sphere Table 8, adding a premium leather handle and a battery so the orb can move through the home. It won a 2022 European Product Design Award.
