Meet the Designer
Designed by
Pablo Studio
Pablo Studio is a tight-knit San Francisco team that picks one idea, refines it and strips it down to its essence. Their goal: objects that feel personal and a little surprising every time you use them.
As featured in Dwell’s Made in America series (2019).
The Design Story
Bola, Spanish for “ball,” is one of Pablo Designs’ signature collections, developed by Pablo Studio, the San Francisco team founded by Pablo Pardo in 1993. Every Bola pairs a softly glowing opal glass globe with a post, mirrored disc, ring or shade so the light appears to float.
Why You’ll Love It
It is tactile, warm and genuinely useful: restaurants and open-plan homes sound calmer under it, and the tilted shade looks wonderfully casual.
Made for Real Life
Hardwired and dimmable on TRIAC/ELV or 0–10V; LED rated 50,000 hours and covered for five years. Indoor use only: Pablo lists no wet or damp rating.

Vacuum gently or use a lint roller.
