Carmine Deganello with the Pablo Studio
For Carmine Deganello, a lamp begins with a material and an experiment. Based in Amsterdam and Milan, he has worked with Pablo for years, and his designs have been exhibited at Milan’s Triennale Design Museum and Vienna’s MAK. The Pablo Studio, the brand’s in-house team in San Francisco, engineered and refined it.
The Design Story
Totem Mini is the newest and most compact chapter of Pablo Pardo’s Totem collection, inspired by the Totem Sconce. It keeps the modular Totem platform and the mouth-blown glass, and adds a richer palette: etched White, Amber and Smoke for a soft diffused glow, plus gloss Clear and Smoke for a crisper, more modern look. Pablo Designs has made lighting in San Francisco since 1993.

Usually three, spaced about 24 to 30 inches apart.
Clear or etched glass?
Etched for soft diffused light; Clear or Smoke gloss for a crisp modern look.
Black or White canopy?
Black for dark ceilings or a graphic look; White to disappear.
Can I mix glass colors?
Yes, mixed Amber and Smoke look great together.
