Meet the Designer
Designed by
Pablo Studio
Pablo Studio is a tight-knit San Francisco team that picks one idea, refines it and strips it down to its essence. Their goal: objects that feel personal and a little surprising every time you use them.
The Design Story
Pablo Pardo founded Pablo Designs in San Francisco in 1993 to let materials speak. Pilar is a study in geometric proportion that brings out the character of its materials: a solid marble column and a hovering glass globe, in a harmonious dialogue between solidity and lightness that defines its iconic silhouette.
Why You’ll Love It
It is sculpture first and lamp second. The marble’s veining is different on every piece, the opal globe glows like a moon, and the light is warm and remarkably true to color.
Made for Real Life
An in-line full-range dimmer and a 6-foot cord; ADA and Title 20 compliant.
