The Design Story
kaschkasch shaped the STAY chair as a single soft form: no legs, no frame, just a low, reclined seat that stays put. kaschkasch, the Cologne duo of Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider, drew STAY low and soft so a terrace feels like a living room; according to blomus, the range won them a German Design Award Special in 2021.
Low, soft and sculptural, STAY turns the pool deck into an outdoor living room, in calm Stone, Cloud, Earth, Coal and Ocean or in sun-washed Cabana Stripes.

Made for Real Life
The outdoor textile is water-repellent and easy to clean; our advice is to brush off leaves and sand, wipe spills with a damp cloth and let the piece dry in the air. The double-layer base pairs a quick-drying, water-repellent cover with a waterproof inner layer that blomus says helps prevent mold. For the off-season, blomus recommends storing STAY under cover; made-to-measure zip-up STAY storage covers are sold separately. Pairs well with the STAY floor sofa, STAY pouf and STAY side table.

STAY gives the outdoors the slouchy comfort of an indoor sofa, with fabric made to shrug off rain and sun.
