Nova Luna Bella Large Pendant Light

Luna Bella Large Pendant Light is a pendant light that hangs from the ceiling and lights a table, island or entry from above.

The light is 1500 lumens of 2700K warm light. It dims from a buyer discretion on the wall. Two finishes let you tune it to the palette you already have.

The Design Story

Nova opened in a Brooklyn factory in 1923 and now draws from Venice Beach, California. The line is what Nova calls California Modern: furniture-grade wood, metal and glass shaped into lamps meant to be lived with.

Why You’ll Love It

It reads as furniture, not hardware. Built from steel and metal, it has the weight a thin fixture lacks. It measures 10 in tall, 14 in wide, and 14 in deep, so the scale is easy to plan around. The light is warm and even: 1500 lumens of 2700K warm light, CRI 95+, so wood, fabric and skin tones look right. Choose your finish: .

Made for Real Life

Day to day it is easy. This is a ceiling fixture; if household wiring is not your thing, book a licensed electrician to hang it. Dust it with a dry cloth, keep harsh cleaners away, and use a dimmable, flicker-free LED if you dim it, as Nova recommends. The marble base is genuine marble, per Nova, so no two bases are exactly alike.

LED vs. Incandescent

A bulb’s brightness is its lumen count, and its wattage is only the electricity it uses. Here that means 1500 lumens from a 14W LED, the same punch as an old 100W incandescent, without the heat. Incandescents read a touch warmer and softer, but they run hot and burn out faster. Switching later is easy: keep the same base, and choose a dimmable, flicker-free LED rated 2700K. Putting It Together

Expect to do a little final assembly when it arrives. The instructions are packed in the box; ask us if you want a look at them first.

Details and Dimensions

Where It Shines

It looks best over a dining table, above a kitchen island, or in an entry or stairwell. It is not the right pick for anyone who cannot add a ceiling fixture, since it must be hardwired by a qualified electrician or hung from a compatible canopy.

Questions We Hear Most

What size is the Luna Bella Large Pendant Light, really?

Overall size is about 10 in high, 14 in across, and 14 in deep.

What kind of light does the Luna Bella Large Pendant Light give off?

It puts out 1500 lumens of 2700K warm light with CRI 95+. It takes a 14W A19 E26 bulb, not included.

How does the dimming work on the Luna Bella Large Pendant Light?

It dims from a buyer discretion on the wall. For the smoothest result use a dimmable, flicker-free LED, as Nova recommends.

How hard is setup for the Luna Bella Large Pendant Light?

This is a ceiling fixture; if household wiring is not your thing, book a licensed electrician to hang it. Nova lists final assembly as required.

Is the marble base real stone?

Per Nova, yes: it is genuine marble, not resin, so the veining and tone are never identical from one base to the next.

How should I clean the Luna Bella Large Pendant Light?

Use a dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. A damp cloth is fine on clear or mirror glass, and Nova suggests a touch-up pen for small scratches on wood or gold leaf.

Is there a warranty on the Luna Bella Large Pendant Light?

Yes, a 1-year limited warranty. Nova covers defects in material or workmanship under normal use for 1 year when a lamp is bought through a retailer like us (its own website sells with 3 years). Nova decides whether to repair, replace or refund. Damage from pets, modification, use outside the U.S. and incandescent bulbs are excluded. Write to us first if anything arrives wrong.

Why We Love It

Our take: Nova makes lighting that behaves like a design piece. It has a clear silhouette, it dims, and it will not look dated in a few years.
