No. It mounts flat to a standard ceiling box, which makes it a quick upgrade for closets, hallways, bathrooms and kitchens.
Can I use it to replace an old can light?
Often yes, with the Nora retrofit kit for this model. Ask us if you are unsure.
Is it okay for a bathroom?
Yes, it is rated for wet locations.
Can I change the brightness or color later?
Yes. Switches on the fixture set the light level and color temperature.
Will it turn itself off?
Yes. The motion sensor switches it on when someone walks in and off when the room is empty.
