The Design Story
The design of the Tolomeo is characterized by clean and minimalist lines, with a structure made of aluminum. This material gives the lamp not only a modern and sophisticated look but also remarkable lightness and robustness. One of the distinctive elements of the Tolomeo is its articulated arm system. Thanks to an innovative spring mechanism, the lamp can be easily adjusted in height and tilt, ensuring great flexibility of use.

Plan for Diameter 20.5" (520 mm), Base Diameter 20.5" (520 mm) (Artemide's figures). The line drawing in the gallery shows every measurement.
Why is the Tolomeo considered a design classic?
It has been recognized with Compasso d'Oro ADI (1989), per Artemide, and was designed by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina.
Is the Tolomeo With Shade Body covered by a warranty?
Yes: Artemide gives a 5-year limited warranty after you register your purchase with them, and we are here to help if anything goes wrong.
Why We Love It
Good design should last decades. Having the right Artemide part on hand keeps an icon in service instead of in storage.
