Ferro & Fuoco Fireplace Tools are fire irons in the original sense.
A poker, tongs and shovel, hammered by hand from old rail steel. Long, balanced and honest, with the forge marks left on show.
The Design Story
Italian designer Marco Ferreri drew the Ferro & Fuoco ("iron and fire") collection for Conmoto. The iron comes from discarded railway tracks; it is hand-forged with water power in a hammer mill that, according to Conmoto, is 500 years old. Every piece carries the marks of the hammer, so no two are exactly alike.
