Serpentine is a ribbon-like pendant that coils in a spiral. Black aluminum channels carry LED tape light, and the glow is diffused evenly across a silicone lens.
It comes in 2 versions: 25 x 24.75 in and 32.25 x 13 in. The finish is Black.
The Design Story
ET2 describes Serpentine as spiraling sinews of LED tape light that swirl in a snake-like formation. Black aluminum channels are lit by strips of LED tape, evenly diffused across a silicone lens. The collection comes in two pendant sizes and a semi-flush mount.
Why You’ll Love It
The light follows the curve, so the fixture reads as a drawn line in the air, with a soft even glow instead of a point of light. The black channels keep the shape graphic against a light ceiling or wall. Two pendant sizes are offered, both in Black, so you can match the scale to the room. ET2 lists Triac dimming.
Made for Real Life
The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to find or match. We suggest a dry microfiber cloth for the finish and no spray cleaners.

ET2 posts an assembly sheet for each version: 25 x 24.75 in (PDF) and 32.25 x 13 in (PDF). ET2 recommends a qualified electrician for the install.

Which Serpentine sizes are offered?
Two pendant sizes are offered, both in Black: one measuring about 25 by 24.75 inches and 15.5 inches tall, and a longer one measuring about 32.25 by 13 inches and 17.25 inches tall.
How long is the cord on the Serpentine, and can I set the hanging height?
Cord length is 120 in, which gives a maximum overall height of 62 in (25 x 24.75 in), 64 in (32.25 x 13 in). The shortest hang is 22 in (25 x 24.75 in), 27 in (32.25 x 13 in), so it can work over a low surface as well as in a taller space.
How much light does the Serpentine give?
Delivered output is 2930 (25 x 24.75 in), 2580 (32.25 x 13 in) lumens, with a color temperature of 3000K and CRI 90.
Will my dimmer work with it?
ET2 lists the dimming as Triac. Send us your dimmer model and we will help you confirm the match before you order.
Can the LED in the Serpentine be replaced?
The LED is integrated and ET2 does not list the board as replaceable, so plan on it as a permanent light source with a rated life of 50,000 hours.
Where can I install the Serpentine?
It is rated for dry locations only, so keep it out of bathrooms with a shower and out of covered patios. The canopy suits sloped ceilings up to 15 degrees. ET2 recommends a qualified electrician for the install.
