ET2 Rinkle LED Acrylic Sculpture Pendant Light

Rinkle is a ribbon of transparent acrylic, shaped by hand and held along a strip of shining stainless steel. It hangs from thin wires and seems to float.

Finishes: Polished Chrome, Brushed Gunmetal and French Gold. Glass: Patterned Acrylic.

The Design Story

ET2 describes the Rinkle pendants as sheets of transparent acrylic shaped by hand. The light-guided acrylic captures the glow of energy-efficient LEDs recessed in stainless steel strips, which hides the source. The pendants are delicately suspended by a series of thin wires and appear to float in an adjustable configuration, like weightless light sculpture.

Why You’ll Love It

Each acrylic ribbon curls on its own line, and the wire suspension lets the piece appear to float. The three finishes, Polished Chrome, Brushed Gunmetal and French Gold, set the tone of the metal strip at its edge. At about 21.5 by 9.75 by 11 inches a single piece is a modest sculpture, and ET2 shows several hung together as a cluster in tall rooms. The LED supports Triac, ELV or 0-10V dimming.

Made for Real Life

The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to find or match. We suggest a dry microfiber cloth for the finish and no spray cleaners.
