The Design Story
The form follows a mathematical idea about the structure of a cube. The LED is housed in aluminum channels and cast in several directions. The fixture is aluminum and steel.

What is the difference between Black and Gold?
Only the finish differs. Size, output and electrical specs are the same in both versions.
How low does the Penrose hang, and can I set the height?
The fixture body is 38 in tall. ET2 lists a maximum overall height of 138 in counting the fixture, canopy and the cord or wire, with 120 in of cord or wire supplied. The shortest hang is 23 in. The overall height is set at install, so measure from the ceiling to where you want the fixture to sit.
How much light does the Penrose give?
Delivered output is 3420 lumens, with a color temperature of 3000K and CRI 90.
Can the LED in the Penrose be replaced?
The LED is integrated and ET2 does not list the board as replaceable, so plan on it as a permanent light source.
Where can I install the Penrose?
It is rated for dry locations only, so keep it out of bathrooms with a shower and out of covered patios. Ceiling slope is not listed, so plan for a flat ceiling. ET2 recommends a qualified electrician for the install.
