ET2 Moonscapes LED Panel Pendant Light

Moonscapes is an irregularly shaped panel that evokes the cratered terrain of the lunar surface, with a textured face and a thin stainless-steel band around the edge. The smaller sizes hang as upright ovals, and the largest is a wide, shallow panel.

It comes in 3 versions: 23.5 x 22.5 in, 13.5 x 6 in and 16 x 6 in. Finishes: Polished Chrome and Brushed Champagne.

The Design Story

ET2 describes Moonscapes as a triumph of scale, craft and light: monumental in form yet ethereal in presence. Edge-lit LED technology is embedded in the tailored stainless-steel band and guides soft, diffused light across the cratered surface, so the panel appears to hover in midair on near-invisible low-voltage cables.

Edge lighting keeps the glow even and the texture catches it differently from every angle. The panels are made to be grouped: several sizes hung at different heights make a cluster, and a single large panel can anchor a space on its own. Choose Polished Chrome for a reflective edge or Brushed Champagne for a warmer one. It dims on Triac, ELV or 0-10V dimmers.

Made for Real Life

The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to find or match. We suggest a dry microfiber cloth for the finish and no spray cleaners.

Which Moonscapes sizes and finishes are offered?

There are three sizes: 13.5 by 6 in, 16 by 6 in, and 23.5 by 22.5 in. Each comes in Polished Chrome or Brushed Champagne.

How long is the cord on the Moonscapes, and can I set the hanging height?

Cord length is 118 in, which gives a maximum overall height of 123.25 in (23.5 x 22.5 in), 140 in (13.5 x 6 in), 137.5 in (16 x 6 in). The shortest hang is 8.25 in (23.5 x 22.5 in), 25.25 in (13.5 x 6 in), 22.5 in (16 x 6 in), so it can work over a low surface as well as in a taller space.

How much light does the Moonscapes give?

Delivered output is 1800 (23.5 x 22.5 in), 1230 (13.5 x 6 in), 1350 (16 x 6 in) lumens, with a color temperature of 3000K and CRI 90.

Will my dimmer work with it?

ET2 lists the dimming as Triac, ELV or 0-10V. Send us your dimmer model and we will help you confirm the match before you order.

Can the LED in the Moonscapes be replaced?

The LED is integrated and ET2 does not list the board as replaceable, so plan on it as a permanent light source with a rated life of 50,000 hours.

Where can I install the Moonscapes?

It is rated for dry locations only, so keep it out of bathrooms with a shower and out of covered patios. Ceiling slope is not listed, so plan for a flat ceiling. ET2 recommends a qualified electrician for the install.
