ET2 Global Glass Globe Pendant Light

Global is a clear blown glass globe with a thin metal tube running down into its center, where a tiny LED gives a spark of light. The glass is clear all the way through.

Finishes: Black and Natural Aged Brass. Glass: Clear.

The Design Story

ET2 describes Global as an airy configuration of Clear blown glass globe shades suspended on thin low voltage wires. Thin tubes finished in Black or Gold descend into the center of the globes, where a small G4 LED lamp provides a spark of light. This is the single-globe pendant, in Black or Natural Aged Brass.

Why You’ll Love It

The glass is clear and the wire is thin, so the fixture hardly blocks the view. The small G4 LED gives a spark rather than a flood of light, so Global works as a decorative light more than as a task light. Black gives a graphic line and Natural Aged Brass gives warmth. It is dimmable with Triac, ELV or 0-10V dimmers.

Made for Real Life

This fixture uses standard replaceable bulbs. 1 x G4 LED socket, bulb included. We suggest a dry microfiber cloth for the finish and no spray cleaners.

Questions We Hear Most

What kind of light does Global give?

Global uses a small G4 LED lamp inside the glass globe, listed at about 170 lumens, so it works best as a decorative or accent light.

How long is the cord on the Global, and can I set the hanging height?

Cord length is 118 in, which gives a maximum overall height of 130 in. The shortest hang is 17.75 in, so it can work over a low surface as well as in a taller space.

How much light does the Global give?

Delivered output is 170 lumens, with a color temperature of 3000K and CRI 90.

Will my dimmer work with it?

ET2 lists the dimming as Triac, ELV or 0-10V. Send us your dimmer model and we will help you confirm the match before you order.

What bulb does the Global take?

1 x G4 LED socket, bulb included. Bulb choice affects brightness and warmth, so we suggest staying at or below the listed wattage.

Where can I install the Global?

It is rated for dry locations only, so keep it out of bathrooms with a shower and out of covered patios. Ceiling slope is not listed, so plan for a flat ceiling. ET2 recommends a qualified electrician for the install.
