ET2 Cuff LED Cuffed Cylinder Pendant Light

Cuff is a slim Matte Black cylinder with a Gold cuff around its lower edge, hung from a single thin black wire. The gold band is the only flourish on an otherwise plain tube.

The finish is Black / Gold.

The Design Story

ET2 builds the Cuff collection from varied lengths of Matte Black cylinders, each finished with a cuffed edge in Gold and suspended on thin black wire. This single pendant is the entry piece of that idea, with a steel and polycarbonate body and an integrated LED, and ET2 positions the collection as an attractive design at an economical price.

Why You’ll Love It

The Cuff pendant is small, so it is made to be repeated. Hang several at different drops over a counter, a bar or a bedside, and the gold bands pick out each height against the black tubes. On its own it suits a nook, a reading chair or a hallway where you want a point of warm light and a flash of gold. Black with gold reads as deliberate in a room that already has brass or gold hardware, and it stays quiet in a room that does not.

Made for Real Life

The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to find or match. We suggest a dry microfiber cloth for the finish and no spray cleaners.

Putting It Together

ET2 posts an assembly sheet for this fixture: Assembly sheet (PDF). ET2 recommends a qualified electrician for the install.

Questions We Hear Most

What does the Cuff look like when it is installed?

It is a narrow Matte Black cylinder about 3.25 inches across and 8.75 inches tall, with a Gold cuffed edge and a thin wire to the ceiling. ET2 sells the collection in varied cylinder lengths for clustering.

How long is the cord on the Cuff, and can I set the hanging height?

Cord length is 120 in, which gives a maximum overall height of 129.5 in. The shortest hang is 11.5 in, so it can work over a low surface as well as in a taller space.

How much light does the Cuff give?

Delivered output is 220 lumens, with a color temperature of 3000K and CRI 90.

Will my dimmer work with it?

ET2 lists the dimming as Triac. Send us your dimmer model and we will help you confirm the match before you order.

Can the LED in the Cuff be replaced?

The LED is integrated and ET2 does not list the board as replaceable, so plan on it as a permanent light source with a rated life of 50,000 hours.

Where can I install the Cuff?

It is rated for dry locations only, so keep it out of bathrooms with a shower and out of covered patios. Ceiling slope is not listed, so plan for a flat ceiling. ET2 recommends a qualified electrician for the install.

Why We Love It

It is a very small object that does one thing well: a black tube with a thin band of gold.
