The Design Story
ET2 describes a series of shade options on a streamlined cast aluminum base. The choices include flat-lens downlights and glass shades in dome, globe, can and ribbed forms, in one-light and two-light versions. Every version in this listing is rated for wet locations.
Why You’ll Love It
The LED is integrated, so there is no bulb to replace, and ET2 lists a rated life of 50,000 hours at 3000K and CRI 90. Output depends on the version, from 450 lumens on the one-light versions up to 1040 on the two-light ribbed glass version. Check the Choose Your Version table for the lights, direction and Dark Sky status of each.
Made for Real Life
The LED is built in, so there is no bulb to find or match. Wipe the finish with a soft damp cloth and skip abrasive or solvent cleaners.
Putting It Together
ET2 posts an assembly sheet for each version: 5 x 5 in (E30160) (PDF), 5 x 5 in (E30161) (PDF), 5 x 5 in (E30170) (PDF), 5 x 6.25 in (E30162) (PDF), 5 x 7.75 in (E30166) (PDF), 5 x 5 in (E30171) (PDF), 5 x 5 in (E30165) (PDF) and 5 x 5 in (E30175) (PDF). Sheets for the other versions are not posted by ET2. ET2 recommends a qualified electrician for the install.

Beside an entry, on a garage wall or along a covered walkway. Pick a down-only version where you want light on the ground, or a two-light up and down version where you want light on the wall as well.
Questions We Hear Most
Which Modular version is Dark Sky compliant?
It depends on the version. ET2 lists Dark Sky compliance for the E30160, E30164, E30165, E30163, E30162 and E30166 versions, and does not list it for the E30170, E30161, E30171 and E30175 versions. ADA compliance is listed as No on all of them.
How big is the Modular, and how far does it project?
Heights run from 5 to 7.75 in and the width is 5 in on every version. Projection from the wall is 6.5 in. The Choose Your Version table above lists each size.

Delivered output in lumens is 450 (5 x 5 in (E30160), 5 x 5 in (E30161) and 5 x 5 in (E30165)); 530 (5 x 5 in (E30163) and 5 x 6.25 in (E30162)); 475 (5 x 5 in (E30164)); 900 (5 x 5 in (E30170)); 1040 (5 x 7.75 in (E30166)); 840 (5 x 5 in (E30171)); 800 (5 x 5 in (E30175)), with a color temperature of 3000K and CRI 90.
Which way can the Modular be mounted?
ET2 lists the mounting orientation as facing down (5 x 5 in (E30160), 5 x 5 in (E30164), 5 x 5 in (E30161), 5 x 5 in (E30165), 5 x 5 in (E30163), 5 x 6.25 in (E30162) and 5 x 7.75 in (E30166)); Facing up or down (5 x 5 in (E30170), 5 x 5 in (E30171) and 5 x 5 in (E30175)).
