Aerial 60 draws a perfect circle in the air: arched black rods carrying a ring of slim cylinders that wash light both up and down.
The Design Story
Sean Lavin designed Aerial as a study in structure. Instead of hiding the frame, he made it the ornament: arched rods spaced like the spokes of a wheel, each ending in a slender cylinder of light.
The LEDs are concealed inside those cylinders, so what you see is a clean Matte Black outline and a soft halo on the ceiling above it.

It brings real scale to a room while staying visually light. The up-and-down light makes the ceiling part of the effect, the 90 CRI LEDs keep colors true, and the all-black finish works as a graphic accent in white, wood-toned or concrete interiors alike.
Made for Real Life
There are no bulbs to change: the LED is built in. Dust the frame with a dry cloth. It mounts on rigid stems, so you can set the drop precisely. Pair it with an LED-compatible ELV or TRIAC dimmer to go from bright to candle-soft.

Can the Aerial 60 be the only light in the room?
In most rooms, yes. It gives 2,845 lumens at 90 CRI, and with a compatible dimmer you can take it from bright to atmospheric.
Is the Aerial 60 the right size for my space?
At 60.1″ it is made for big rooms, open plans and tall ceilings. See the sizing chart above.
Will the Aerial 60 work outside under a roof?
Yes. Visual Comfort rates it for damp interiors and outdoor spaces under cover, so a loggia or covered patio is fine; keep it out of direct rain.
Will I ever change a bulb in the Aerial 60?
There are no bulbs. The light comes from built-in LED modules, installed at the factory.
How is the Aerial 60 hung?
It is rod (stem) mounted; in the box: (4) 12in and (2) 6in rigid stems in coordinating finish. Sloped ceilings up to 15°. A licensed electrician should install it.
How soon can the Aerial 60 arrive?
All the versions we offer are in stock right now, and in-stock pieces usually leave within 2–3 business days.
