The Design Story
Trio is a Besa ceiling light built around its glass. White, Marble or Stucco handcrafted glass; Stucco starts as clear blown glass with a subtle matte frost, then gets a uniform pattern of textured clear glazing inspired by Venetian plaster. Besa’s signature is the glass. American designers work with European craftsmen, every shade is made by hand, and each one is inspected in Ohio before it leaves the factory, so the small variations you see are the mark of a handmade piece, not a flaw.

How big is the Trio 16?
About 15.75 inches across and 4.75 inches deep.
Is the Trio 16 LED version dimmable?
Yes: the LED is CL dimmable and gives about 2200 lumens of warm 3000K light. The bulb version dims with a regular incandescent dimmer.
What does Stucco glass feel like on the Trio 16?
It looks like the textured plaster walls of Venetian palazzos: a matte frost with raised clear glazing that glows when lit.
Can the Trio 16 handle a steamy bathroom?
Yes. It is damp rated for indoor rooms, so bathroom and laundry ceilings are fine; it is not meant for outdoor porches or spots that get sprayed directly.
Do the Trio 16 clips have to match my hardware?
They look best when they do: Polished Nickel with chrome, Satin Nickel with brushed fixtures, White when you want the glass to float on its own.
What does the Trio 16 need for installation?
A standard 4-inch octagonal ceiling box and an electrician: it is hardwired, not plug-in. The install guide is linked above.
