The Design Story
Stilo is Besa’s cylinder family, and Stilo 7 is its smallest member: an open-ended tube of handcrafted glass, 4 inches across and 7 tall. Carrera is made by rolling clear molten glass in fine white frit, then blowing it with a frosted inner layer; the Cherry, Oak, Titan and Chalk glasses carry a fine horizontal texture that catches the light. Besa’s signature is the glass. American designers work with European craftsmen, every shade is made by hand, and each one is inspected in Ohio before it leaves the factory, so the small variations you see are the mark of a handmade piece, not a flaw.
Why You’ll Love It
It is calm, graphic and easy to repeat. The wood-toned glasses warm up a white kitchen, the stone tones suit concrete and slate, and the open base drops a little light onto the counter. The 3000K LED with CRI 90+ keeps the glow natural.
Made for Real Life
The 120V version mounts to a standard ceiling box, sloped ceilings included, with no transformer. It hangs from a 10-foot cord, carries a damp rating for indoor spaces and runs on the included LED source or a candelabra bulb. Pairs well with Stilo 10 cylinder pendant, Camino slim pendant.
