The Design Story
Stilo is Besa’s most essential shape: a straight glass cylinder, open at the base. In Carrera, molten glass is rolled in white frit and blown with a frosted inner finish, then satin-etched outside, so every cylinder carries its own soft alabaster pattern. Besa’s signature is the glass. American designers work with European craftsmen, every shade is made by hand, and each one is inspected in Ohio before it leaves the factory, so the small variations you see are the mark of a handmade piece, not a flaw.
