The Design Story
Sonya is a Besa ceiling light built around its glass. Satin Frost (clear pressed glass etched to diffuse the light: unlit it reads as a satin texture, lit it glows calmly) or Glitter decor glass; press-molded, so each piece is consistent. Besa’s signature is the glass: American designers work with European craftsmen, and each piece is inspected in Ohio before it leaves the factory.

How big is the Sonya 13?
About 13 inches across and 4.375 inches deep.
Is the Sonya 13 LED version dimmable?
Yes: the LED is CL dimmable and gives about 1100 lumens of warm 3000K light. The bulb version dims with a regular incandescent dimmer.
Does the Sonya 13 glitter glass sparkle when it is off?
A little; it is at its best lit. Satin Frost, by contrast, reads as a soft satin texture until it is switched on.
Can the Sonya 13 handle a steamy bathroom?
Yes. It is damp rated for indoor rooms, so bathroom and laundry ceilings are fine; it is not meant for outdoor porches or spots that get sprayed directly.
Which clip finish suits the Sonya 13 best?
White clips disappear on a white ceiling for a pure glass look; Satin Nickel clips add a crisp metal accent that matches brushed hardware.
What does the Sonya 13 need for installation?
