The Design Story
Sly hides its source behind a solid face and lets light slip out through a ring of pressed glass, so the wall around it glows in a radial pattern. Switched off it is a simple disc; switched on it becomes a small piece of light art. Besa’s signature is the glass. American designers work with European craftsmen, every shade is made by hand, and each one is inspected in Ohio before it leaves the factory, so the small variations you see are the mark of a handmade piece, not a flaw.
