Low on the ceiling, warm when it is on, with a 2000-lumen dimmable LED built in. Keep it pure in Opal Matte, or pick a hand-brushed decor: Oak in light brown strokes, Cherry in dark red, Chalk in silvery off-white. Off, it looks like a subtle grain; on, the brushwork glows.
The Design Story
Pella is a Besa flush mount made from hand-blown glass: a softly radiused, one-piece blown opal glass shade whose outer layer is etched to a smooth satin finish. Besa’s signature is the glass. American designers work with European craftsmen, every shade is made by hand, and each one is inspected in Ohio before it leaves the factory, so the small variations you see are the mark of a handmade piece, not a flaw.

How big is the Pella 13?
About 12.5 inches across and 3 inches deep.
Is the Pella 13 bright enough for a kitchen?
Its built-in LED gives about 2000 lumens of warm 3000K light, good for bedrooms, baths and smaller kitchens.
Do the Pella 13 decors show when the light is off?
A little: unlit they read as a soft brushed texture, like wood grain or spun silk. Once it is on, the brushwork glows and the color shows clearly.
Is the Pella 13 okay over a shower or on a porch?
It is damp rated for indoor rooms, so a steamy bathroom ceiling is fine; it is not meant for outdoor porches or spots that get sprayed directly.
What does the Pella 13 need for installation?
It needs a standard 4-inch octagonal ceiling box and an electrician; it is hardwired, not plug-in.
Is every Pella 13 option in stock?
Not right now: Cherry is sold out at Besa; the other options are ready to order. The Pella 16 is the larger size.
