The Design Story
Kite hides its light source completely. A slim aluminum face sits in front of a frosted diffuser, so the light escapes from the edges and paints the wall with a soft glow. It feels as much like art as lighting. Besa’s signature is the glass. American designers work with European craftsmen, every shade is made by hand, and each one is inspected in Ohio before it leaves the factory, so the small variations you see are the mark of a handmade piece, not a flaw.
