The Design Story
Jilly is a little globe with a lot going on. The transparent glass carries a swirling, vapor-like décor that partly hides the inside, and the light source inside adds a point of sparkle that moves as you walk past. Besa’s signature is the glass. American designers work with European craftsmen, every shade is made by hand, and each one is inspected in Ohio before it leaves the factory, so the small variations you see are the mark of a handmade piece, not a flaw.

Most kitchens set the bottom of the glass about 30 to 36 inches above the counter (our advice); the 10-foot cord leaves plenty of room to get it right.
Will the Jilly work under a vaulted ceiling?
Yes. The flat canopy fits a standard ceiling box and is approved for sloped ceilings.
Is the Jilly fine in a steamy room?
It is damp rated for indoor spaces, so a bathroom or laundry room is fine; it is not meant for outdoors.
