The Design Story
Hula’s idea is a single band. A rounded stripe circles the middle of the clear glass, hiding the light source just enough, while the transparent glass above and below catches a soft shimmer. Besa took its cue from farmhouse style and made something that fits almost anywhere. Besa’s signature is the glass. American designers work with European craftsmen, every shade is made by hand, and each one is inspected in Ohio before it leaves the factory, so the small variations you see are the mark of a handmade piece, not a flaw.

Will the Hula 8 work under a vaulted ceiling?
Yes. The flat canopy fits a standard ceiling box and is approved for sloped ceilings.
Is the Hula 8 fine in a steamy room?
It is damp rated for indoor spaces, so a bathroom or laundry room is fine; it is not meant for outdoors.
