The Design Story
Thöming put a silicone lid on the handle so that, once the brush is home, all you see is a soft vessel and a slim steel stem. Thöming, an industrial designer at Flöz Design in Germany, gave SONO no hard edge anywhere: every piece is a soft, pebble-like volume wrapped in a velvety matte coating.
Rounded shapes, a skin-soft matte surface and muted color, from light Micro Chip gray and creamy Moonbeam to taupe Satellite, charcoal Magnet, Tan, White and Black.
