FERA Leaning Ladder by studio blomus

FERA Leaning Ladder by studio blomus — A 65-inch black steel ladder that leans against the wall to hang towels or display throws and blankets.

Part of FERA, the powder-coated steel occasional furniture by studio blomus for the German design house blomus.

The Design Story

studio blomus kept the ladder to a few thin black lines, so it furnishes a wall without taking up the room. studio blomus, the in-house team in Sundern, drew FERA from flat, folded steel and finished it in a matte, slightly textured powder coat that reads almost like stone.

Folded steel, matte color and a graphic silhouette: FERA is the side-table family that makes a room feel considered.

Why You’ll Love It

A towel rack that needs no drilling and looks good with or without towels on it.

Made for Real Life

Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry; avoid abrasive pads that could mark the powder coat. Indoor use only. The matte, slightly roughened powder coat hides fingerprints and gives the steel a soft, mineral look. Pairs well with the FERA pedestal plant stand, TEDDY bolster and VISCA ribbed rug.

Why We Love It

FERA brings the clean lines of a gallery plinth to everyday living: a place for a lamp, a plant or the coffee cup. From a small town in Germany’s old steel region, the Blome family has gone from bicycle parts (1921) to metal gifts (1961) to the design label blomus (2000), still family-run in its fourth generation. LoftModern is an authorized blomus retailer.
