AVA Curved Step Can by Nadine Kümmel for blomus — A rounded 3-liter pedal bin with a soft-close lid that hides the bag liner, in Tan, Black or White.
Part of AVA, Nadine Kümmel’s spa-inspired bath collection for the German design house blomus.
The Design Story
Kümmel gave the bin the same soft curves as the AVA glass, so it sits quietly beside the vanity rather than standing out. Kümmel, a German interior and product designer with a master’s degree in sustainable design, gave AVA gentle curves and an ombré glow meant to feel like a quiet spa.
Glass that glows from pale to deep, curves without a single corner: AVA brings spa-inspired calm to the basin in Tan, Black and White.
Why You’ll Love It
Quiet, hygienic and genuinely pretty for a bathroom bin.
Made for Real Life
Wipe with a damp cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners. The soft-close lid lowers itself gently, so it is quiet at night. Pairs well with the AVA toilet brush, AVA glass vanity jar and AVA glass soap pump.

Why We Love It
AVA turns everyday bathroom essentials into soft, glowing objects that look as good as they work. From a small town in Germany’s old steel region, the Blome family has gone from bicycle parts (1921) to metal gifts (1961) to the design label blomus (2000), still family-run in its fourth generation. LoftModern is an authorized blomus retailer.
