Configured here with a aluminum finish. Artemide describes it this way: “Falkland suspension is a lamp with a spontaneous shape that is achieved by the contrasting forces of its components: the tension of a stretched tube of finely woven fabric and the weight of seven different sized metal rings.”

Meet the Designer
Bruno Munari (1907–1998) was an Italian artist and designer, one of the most inventive minds of 20th-century design. His Falkland lamp for Danese, made of stretchy knitted fabric, is a design classic.
Why You'll Love It
- Made by Artemide, the Milan lighting house behind some of the most collected lamps of the last fifty years.
Made for Real Life
Perfect for dining tables, kitchen islands, entries and open-plan living spaces. Good to know: the bulb versions need E26 bulbs, which are not included, an electrician should hardwire it and special-order options come from Italy in 10–16 weeks.

It is dimmable; the spec sheet lists the dimming type.
