Meet the Designer
Alessandro Mendini (1931–2019) was a Milanese architect, designer and editor of Casabella, Modo and Domus. A leading voice of radical and postmodern design, he infused objects with humor and color; his Proust armchair is one of the best-known pieces of the era.

Questions We Hear Most
Is a bulb included with the Edge?
No. The bulb versions take E26 bulb, 23W max. A warm 2700K LED bulb gives the most natural glow (our advice).
When will my Edge ship?
Standard delivery: leaves Artemide's warehouse in 2–4 weeks, plus transit time. We email your confirmed ship date after you order.
How do I dim or switch the Edge?
On/off, according to Artemide.
How much space does the Edge need?
Plan for Width 13.8" (350 mm), Height 12.6" (320 mm) (Artemide's figures). The line drawing in the gallery shows every measurement.
Is the Edge made for outdoor or bathroom use?
It is meant for dry indoor rooms only (IP20), so keep it away from showers and porches.
Is the Edge covered by a warranty?
Yes: Artemide gives a 5-year limited warranty after you register your purchase with them, and we are here to help if anything goes wrong.
