The Design Story
A silk satin fabric shade connected to a painted white zamac base via a painted aluminum stem, Melampo mini can be adjusted for direct and indirect light. Melampo Mini accommodates 2 positions while the standard task lamp can be maneuvered into 3 positions. Grey or bronze fabric shades available. Floor and lamp versions.
Meet the Designer
Adrien Gardère: Born in France in 1972, Adrien Gardere creates relevant and innately understandable objects and spaces. Trained as an architect, he works to logically adapt cultural reference points in contemporary mediums whether they be as furniture, wall coverings or museum installations. Since 2004, Gardere has served as Artistic Director for visual arts exhibitions held alongside The Kennedy Center’s “World Stages” international live performance programming.

Perfect for bedside reading, hallways, living rooms and offices; anywhere floor and table space is tight. Good to know: the bulb versions need E12 bulbs, which are not included, it is made for dry indoor rooms and an electrician should hardwire it.

No. The bulb versions take E12 bulb, 60W max. A warm 2700K LED bulb gives the most natural glow (our advice).
