TR32 Pendant by Tom Rossau — a soft white cloud of lamellas, sculpted and asymmetric.
Its textured nonwoven strips give generous, comfortable light that is easy on the eyes, and they stay white over the years.
The Design Story
Introduced in 2017, the TR32 moved Tom Rossau’s lamella language into a larger, freer, more playful form. Its sibling TR33 is even taller, and the two inspired custom pendants for Restaurant Almanak at the Royal Danish Opera House. The studio began with an experiment: Tom Rossau pressed thin strips of wood into a cylinder to see how they would bend, and the harder he pressed, the more expressive the shape became. That experiment became the TR5 in 2005, and every lamp since has followed the same idea of flat material coaxed into sculpture, built by hand in Copenhagen.
