The Design Story
In 1929 Sophie Taeuber-Arp shaped these candlesticks for the Meudon-Clamart house she shared with Jean Arp, to sit beside furniture of their own design. The Fondation Arp in Paris keeps the originals and partnered on this edition. IC Design gives the size as 20 cm by 4.5 cm, sized for taper candles, with brass cups made in Switzerland.
