Romb Mini Cordless Lamp by Broberg & Ridderstråle — two stacked shapes of rippled “cardboard”, glowing without a cord.
Cordless, splash-resistant and endlessly movable, it brings light to wherever the evening goes.
The Design Story
Broberg & Ridderstråle built Romb from an idea born in their studio: corrugated cardboard, which they use for architectural prototypes. Two rippled shapes stacked one on top of the other play tricks on the eye, so a metal lamp seems as light as cardboard.
As much a lamp as it is a design object.
— Mats Broberg
Why You’ll Love It
It is a design object first: compressed, rippled and witty, as interesting on a shelf as on a dinner table. And with no cord, it goes where you need it.
Made for Real Life
Charge it with the USB-C cable (adapter not included). It is rated IP44 and Pholc describes it for indoor or outdoor use; bring it in afterwards and keep it dry while charging (our advice). It sits beautifully alongside the Romb sculptural table lamp, Champagne gold table lamp and Mobil globe table lamp.
