The Design Story
Launched in 2026, the TR44 brings together the TR7 and the TR4. Tom Rossau calls it a new classic shaped by the past and designed for modern living. The studio began with an experiment: Tom Rossau pressed thin strips of wood into a cylinder to see how they would bend, and the harder he pressed, the more expressive the shape became. That experiment became the TR5 in 2005, and every lamp since has followed the same idea of flat material coaxed into sculpture, built by hand in Copenhagen.
