The Design Story
Nina Jobs and Stina Sandwall took their cue from the pleated fabrics of high fashion, and from the contradiction of expressing softness in a hard material. Donna is made from thin, lightweight aluminum with a smooth matte finish, folded into soft pleats that catch the light like fabric. Pholc co-founder Maja Norburg calls Donna 15 a natural progression of the family, made to elevate hallways, corridors and other spaces that need a welcoming wall light.
