The Design Story

TOV Furniture designs pieces that bring boutique-hotel character into everyday homes, and the Taylor collection follows that approach. The material does the talking: the linen weave reads relaxed and natural and leather gives a smooth, tailored finish.

Why You'll Love It

TOV rates the comfort as medium on its plush-to-firm scale, so you know how the seat will feel before it arrives. A seat 18 inches deep gives you room to linger over long dinners. No tools are involved: it comes out of the box ready to sit in. With 6 options to choose from, it is easy to match the chair to your table, rug or wall color. The fabric is chosen to cope with everyday spills, which matters at the dinner table.

Made for Real Life

Rated for 265 to 285 lb depending on the option, it is built for daily sitting, not just for show. Inside you will find webbing seat support and fiber wrapped foam cushioning. Keep it looking fresh by blotting spills quickly, vacuuming the upholstery now and then and keeping it out of harsh afternoon sun.

Questions We Hear Most

How comfortable is the Taylor Dining Chair?

TOV rates it medium on a plush, soft, medium and firm scale. The seat is 17.5" wide and 18" deep, filled with fiber wrapped foam over webbing support.

Which colors does the Taylor Dining Chair come in?

You can choose Off-White, Black, Cream, Brown, Blue and Light Pink. The material differs by option: Off-White in performance linen; Black in performance linen; Cream in performance vegan leather; Brown in performance vegan leather; Blue in performance chenille; Light Pink in performance chenille.

What materials are used in the Taylor Dining Chair?

TOV lists the materials by option. Off-White, Black uses Linen, plywood and stainless steel. Cream, Brown uses Plywood, stainless steel and vegan leather. Blue, Light Pink uses Chenille, metal and wood.

How many of the Taylor Dining Chair fit around my table?

At 25" wide, plan roughly 29" of table edge per chair so everyone has elbow room (our advice). Divide the length of each side of your table by that number to see how many fit.

How does the Taylor Dining Chair arrive?

Fully assembled, in 1 box measuring Off-White, Black, Blue, Light Pink: 25.9"W x 23.4"D x 29.3"H; Cream, Brown: 26"W x 23.5"D x 29.3"H, by free ground delivery. In-stock options leave TOV's warehouse in 1–3 days.

Is the Taylor Dining Chair the right height for my table?

With a 19.5" seat height it suits a standard 28–30" dining table, leaving about 8.5–10.5" between seat and tabletop (our guide: 10–12" is comfortable). The arms sit 27.4" off the floor, so check that height against the underside of your table apron if you want the chair to tuck in.

Why We Love It

We pick pieces that look as good in a real dining room as they do in a photo. The Taylor Dining Chair does that with performance linen, performance vegan leather and performance chenille, honest dimensions and a maker that publishes its specs in full.
