The Design Story

TOV Furniture designs pieces that bring boutique-hotel character into everyday homes, and the Irma collection follows that approach. The material does the talking: velvet has a soft pile that catches the light.

Why You'll Love It

TOV rates the comfort as medium on its plush-to-firm scale, so you know how the seat will feel before it arrives. A seat 18.5 inches deep gives you room to linger over long dinners. With 2 options to choose from, it is easy to match the chair to your table, rug or wall color. The fabric is chosen to cope with everyday spills, which matters at the dinner table.

Made for Real Life

Rated for 330 lb, it is built for daily sitting, not just for show. Inside you will find sinious spring seat support and foam cushioning. Keep it looking fresh by blotting spills quickly, vacuuming the upholstery now and then and keeping it out of harsh afternoon sun.

Questions We Hear Most

How comfortable is the Irma Textured Performance Velvet Dining Chair?

TOV rates it medium on a plush, soft, medium and firm scale. The seat is 19.5" wide and 18.5" deep, filled with foam over sinious spring support.

Which colors does the Irma Textured Performance Velvet Dining Chair come in?

You can choose Taupe and Forest Green. Every option uses the same performance textured velvet.

What materials are used in the Irma Textured Performance Velvet Dining Chair?

TOV lists plywood, velvet, wood, with a brown base or legs.

How many of the Irma Textured Performance Velvet Dining Chair fit around my table?

At 25" wide, plan roughly 29" of table edge per chair so everyone has elbow room (our advice). Divide the length of each side of your table by that number to see how many fit.

How does the Irma Textured Performance Velvet Dining Chair arrive?

Partly assembled with instructions, in 1 box measuring 25.8"W x 22"D x 33"H, by free ground delivery. Pre-order: Taupe – estimated restock 10/26/2026; Forest Green – estimated restock 10/26/2026.

Is the Irma Textured Performance Velvet Dining Chair the right height for my table?

With a 20" seat height it suits a standard 28–30" dining table, leaving about 8–10" between seat and tabletop (our guide: 10–12" is comfortable). The arms sit 25" off the floor, so check that height against the underside of your table apron if you want the chair to tuck in.

Why We Love It

We pick pieces that look as good in a real dining room as they do in a photo. The Irma Textured Performance Velvet Dining Chair does that with performance textured velvet, honest dimensions and a maker that publishes its specs in full.
