The Design Story
Kyla McCallum fell for origami as a student in Cologne in 2007 and never stopped folding. Her studio, Foldability, works between London and Munich on paper art, set design and installations for fashion and design brands, and its lighting carries the same precision: geometry you can read in the creases, softened by light from within.

Maya proves a lamp can be small and still be a sculpture. Every facet is folded by hand, so the light shifts gently from plane to plane, and at a pound it seems to float. Hang a few together and they read like a quiet constellation of paper.
