Original BTC Magnus C4 Chandelier is a chandelier and made in England by the Oxfordshire lighting house founded by Peter Bowles in 1990.

The Design Story
Each Magnus shade is mouth-blown in Oxfordshire from fine raw materials using traditional techniques, then set on a slim blackened bronze frame. Each shade is blown by hand in Original BTC’s Oxfordshire glassworks, part of a glassmaking business it rescued in 2011 to keep the craft in Britain.

Opal glass gives soft, even light with no glare, and the dark frame draws a crisp line through the room. Handmade glass gives every shade small variations and a depth of color that machine-made glass can’t match.
Made for Real Life
Have an electrician hang it from a ceiling box and set the drop to suit your table. Let it cool, then wipe the glass with a soft cloth. Tiny bubbles or shifts in tone are the marks of hand-blown glass.
